I’m passionate about people, process, and constant improvement, and I love solving complicated problems. The most important things to me are my family, my faith and our community. I’m not big on doing things a certain way just because that’s how they’ve always been done. I wear jeans to work, and can’t remember the last time I wore a tie. If I could write contracts with Lego bricks and movie quotes, I would.
I’m great with relationships and process, and understanding complex systems and structures. I love putting things together, and thrive on collaboration. I learn quickly because I know that I don’t know it all, and I REALLY love to win.
As a recovering workaholic, I’ve experienced deep burnout and anxiety, and the damage that the traditional approach to law has on lawyers, staff, clients and their families. I take great pride in helping clients feel confident throughout their deal process and beyond. My experience ranges from main street to mid-market, with structures from simple, to sophisticated private equity transactions. I’ve worked with clients in manufacturing, healthcare, dental, technology, general services, and more.

Sam, his wife Meg, and their sons are active in the Wichita community, frequently enjoying the numerous parks and activities that Wichita has to offer, as well as the great local restaurants and craft breweries, and Life.Church. Sam loves nerding out about anything involving technology, entrepreneurship or community development.
